So - still homeless - I post again here after a long break - Regarding the last post up having gone up when the whole Occupy thing was in full swing , now , of course , it has long since collapsed in the " making-the-papers " sense - But , there is still an Occupy group here in Santa Cruz .
  I sent to last Saturday's meeting , in front of Santa Cruz's downtown U.S. Post Office .
  At it , a different concept for a camp for homelss and other people was discussed , it was by a member of that group who had come to the Occupy metting to look for some backing/linkage with the Occupy people .
  It was an attempted Homelss Sanctuary Camp and I'll post the link to their FB page on the next post...

I Saw The Sign.........

...Out here in SF , there is an abanonded bookstore in whose doorway I sleep in at times .
  Recently , they put up an ad on the abandoned bookstore .
It's an ad for Jansport backpacks !!!!!!!! Further , saying " Wecome To Freedom " and " Discover Outside " , part of a whole new campaighn aimed at the newly minted homeless ?
  After all , the person shown in the ad sort of does not look like ( shown from behind ) what you might think of a standard ad's " groovy backpacer " , or " swingin' student " or " got her yoga supplies for lunchtime class " young businesswoman...with a rather not-fancy white jacket and hood over the head , and being shown in what appears to be an urban setting , not a forest/whatever - Could it be " one of us " ??!!??!!???
  Maybe a certain " impremeur (??) of hipness " is intended ? After all , Kevin , the Homelss Guy , should know !!!!!!!!!!!
  Or , maybe some " white-robed monk " - monk of the outside - suggestion is intended , too .
  When I am sleeping/lying in the doorway - Should I ask for some money from Jansport in helping their ad look more real ????? Or , jusst rent myself out to some Berkley or UCSF student looking for a nice dramatic picture for his/her dissertation ?????????

I am a homeless man , in San Francisco California now .
At present , I am " fully homeless " , i.e. , I slleep outside , carry a backpack and bags - However , I im inside at the library and such a lot during the day , which is how I can prepapre this , plus what internet cates are left , and the like .
